Myanmar visa information

A Myanmar entry visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, with a maximum stay of 28 days allowed. Most nationalities are able to apply for an eVisa if you will be arriving by flight at Yangon, Mandalay or Nay Pyi Taw Airports; or crossing the border overland into Myanmar through Tachilek, Myawaddy or Kawthaung ($50 US payable online). After approval, the approval letter must be printed as it will be needed to board international flights. Please visit https://evisa.moip.gov.mm/

If arriving by any other land border, or at any other port or airport, you must arrange your visa in your country of residence (in the UK, please visit this webpage for full details on applying). We will provide an EVT letter to help you to obtain the correct entry visa at the Myanmar Embassy in London and at other embassies worldwide.
